Symposia MMiN Guidelines

• Acceptable topics (list not exhaustive): In vivo and in vitro approaches, electrochemistry including voltammetry and biosensors, microdialysis and related techniques, pharmacology, behavior, plasticity, neurodegeneration, metabolism, imagery approaches based on fluorescence or PET, tools to manipulate neuronal circuits, monitoring catecholamines, serotonin, glutamate, acetylcholine, GABA, purines and neuropeptides, receptors and transporters, molecular monitoring, experimental or clinical research, human, rat, mouse, rabbit, drosophila, fish, etc…
• You do not need to approach potential speakers yet, just send us your proposed symposium idea.
• Please consider diverse speaker representation in your proposals.
• As normal for this meeting, we would be expecting speakers to support their own attendance and registration costs, but we would hope to reimburse two free registrations to each symposium after the meeting depending on attendance numbers.
• Please, send your symposium proposal including the following list of items in a word format to by October 31st, 2019, with “MMiN 2020 Symposium Proposal” in the subject line.

1. Symposium Title.
2. Name of Chair (and Co-Chair if desired).
3. A description of the subject area (200 words or less).
4. A list of 4-5 potential speakers for your symposium, who will be selected by the Local Scientific Committee. You do NOT need to confirm availability of potential speakers yet.
5. A brief description of the topic you would like each potential speaker to cover (1-2 sentences per proposed speaker).
6. Email addresses and home institutions for the Chair(s) and each potential contributor.
